Amy Johnson Crow suggested a weekly blog theme of "52 Ancestors" in her blog post Challenge:  52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks on the No Story Too Small blog.  

I've Taken a leaf out of Randy Seaver's blog Genamusings to post and highlight my genealogical research, so I choose to follow Amy's lead here and write about one ancestor every week (as best I can)
